Anything I Never Said

Neunauge I was drawn in by the album cover in its perfect blend of minimalist elegance and sincerity. And the songs are a match for the cover, just unpolished enough to make them charming, while also being full of fun rhythms and compelling harmonies. I'm so excited I had the luck to find this! Favorite track: Come Back Down.

I hope you realize by now that this shouldn't be happening But yet it seems that you're content with it being The way things are right now And all I can ask is how I know you know there's easier ways to get around this crazy town Meet new ends, no need to frown So why stick to your old ways? Break free from your monotonous days today, hey So be here now Don't break down Lose the crown And come back down Ba ba, da bum bum... Oooh, oooh... I know you know that you think that you know everything But that ain't right Although you might investigate The ways that I chose to stay tight Don't break the ties, you'll lose the fight You're up there on your little castle Giving commands to seize the land Although you own the right cards in your hand Keep yourself together, it may not go as planned So be here now Don't break down Lose the crown And come back down Do you have an answer yet? I don't think you'll win your bet I suppose it's in your range To act in a way that's not so strange Why am I the one who's tasked In an attempt to change what's in the past Is it so sacred, that you'd fake it Just for some self-respect? Is that why It is I? Who's tasked to take you down again I don't want to make you frown again So be here now Don't break down Lose the crown And come back down So be here now Don't break down Lose the crown And come back down

You 02:50
I don't understand the words you say Maybe I should read a dictionary Is it enough to be subpar? Like the words my eyes can't read from afar Oooh... Oooh... You better know that it's okay To not feel the best you can today You don't have to rework yourself When you're a better you than someone else Oh, When you're a better you than someone else I'm tryna catch myself, fallin' through the ground If only I was goin' at the speed of sound We could go anywhere Anything's allowed Perhaps, given enough time We can make something work between our lives Oooh, oooh... Oooh, oooh... Oooh, oooh... Oooh...

28 Weeks 02:22
28 weeks, 28 weeks, without you Memories blur, memories fade, where are you? I'm lookin' for a sign, any sign of life that you may leave I'm hopin' I can find, hopin' I can find, anything Would you send out a call for help, Or are you lookin' for me? I've lost track of any sense of time, So gimme your hand, and we can feel fine Oooh... 28 weeks, 28 weeks, have passed 28 weeks, 28 weeks, have passed 34 weeks, 48 weeks, 64 weeks, 88 weeks, 88 weeks Imma just be the best me that I can be 'Cause honestly that's the best I can do right now 'Cause 28 weeks pass, 28 more Blink once, blink twice, it's 2024 28 weeks pass, 28 more Suddenly, time stops, and I'm left so torn 28 days pass, 28 days 28 hours 28 minutes 28 seconds And then Time just stops

about

In a journey to do some mental self-cleaning before the release of my second album under the "kqa" name, I set out to start going through all the songs I wish I had recorded. I realized it was time to give these songs one final send-off and show them to the world.

"Anything I Never Said" is the debut release under my real name, Nicole Di Bisceglie, and covers songs from 2018 up to 2020. Every song had one live guitar take, and one live vocal take - had I messed up, I start over. After working with incredibly layered music, I found myself trying to add on harmonies, but I knew I needed to start from square one. And truthfully, I think it ultimately helps more than ever before. <3
